I started my blog back in 2008 when I wanted to sell my textile patterns - embroidery, patchwork and so on. My son, who is a computer whiz (with qualifications) said I must start a blog before that and I have been posting intermittently since then.
For the last two years I have been studying Visual Art at Marden Senior College in Adelaide, and this has totally changed my artistic perspective. This has been reflected in what I post on the blog, and now that I have finished studying, I am getting used to posting weekly.
I am now working mainly in mixed media, using both hand-made books, textiles and 3D fibre art.
As I no longer operate as a small business, I now consider myself a "hobby artist".
